Teresa de la Torre studied singing at the Municipal Conservatoire of her native Barcelona. She was awarded the Prize of Honour on finishing her studies. She has participated in master classes with Paul Schilawsky, Gérard Souzay, Gino Bechi and Jerzy Artysz.
She has performed roles in musicals under the direction of Joan Lluis Bozzo of Dagoll Dagom ( "Mikado", "Quartetto da Cinque" and "Mar i Cel" ) and Mario Gas ( "Sweeney Todd " and " A little Night Music " ). She took part in Carlos Santos' opera "Asdrúbila" and in the Tricicle production of Rossini's " Barber of Seville". Solo song programmes have included " Falla, Paris and friends" and "Nine composers of the 90s". Other performances have included "Hello Brecht" and Xavier Maristany's "Aèria" at the 1999 Barcelona Contemporary Music Festival.
Her solo recitals have taken her to different parts of Spain, Germany, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland.
Recently her first CD album was released; KAMALEONIC WEILL, songs of Kurt Weill.
